J.O. NATIONALS INFORMATION
If you have a Level 9;12-13 or Level 10 gymnast who might qualify to J.O.'s, you should be aware of the following:
The qualifying score for Level 9;12-13=72.0, for Level 10;14-15=75.0, and for Level 10;16-18=76.5.
Region IV's allotments in each of the age groups are: 30, Level 9;12-13. 16, Level 10;14-15. 16, Level 10;16-18. In other words, we fill by rank order the allotments even if we have a shortfall of athletes who make the qualifying score.
If you think you might have a gymnast qualify you MUST go to the following website;
http://www.queencitygymnastics.com/2009jonationals/index.htm.
Once there, click <Forms>, then the Entry Form (pdf), and the NCAA Release Form (pdf). Fill them both in, online, print the documents and bring them along with a check for $150.00 per gymnast, made out to Region IV Gymnastics Men. Please fill out the form online or type in the entry information after printing off the blank form. Put all of your Level 9;12-13 & Level 10 gymnasts on the form. Once you know who has and has not qualified, scratch out the ones who do not qualify.
It is possible for a Level 10 gymnast to qualify as a 3, 4 or 5 event qualifier. The rules for this entry qualification/procedure are found at:
